Healthcare environment nowadays is an information intensive industry: data providing from primary care, hospitals, mental Health, Pharma, social workers and other silos related, must be integrated in order to provide the best care for the patient and also to make the healthcare System sustainable.

Only for the European hospitals market segment, investment in eHealth for 2015 was estimated in 2.700m€ (Gatner). However, interoperability of ICT-enable solutions and of data exchange still remains as a barrier for better coordination and integration across the entire chain of healthcare delivery and health data exchange.

BITAC MAP addresses this semantic interoperability gap in healthcare with CTMAP, a computer assisted coding tool which links local terminology used in clinical information systems directly to clinical terminological standards such as SNOMED CT, LOINC AND ICD10.

CTMAP is defined as a terminology standardization service based on a SaaS platform, its semantic coder and its core terminology DB with >500.000 validated relationships, make of CTMAP a disruptive clinical service unique in the market.

The strong development and rapid growth of eHealth, as well as Big Data deployment do reinforce and stress the need for standards.

Interoperability market is about to exploit at exponential rates.

CTMAP is very competitive tool addressing this challenge.
